Keningau Witnessed the Biggest Youth Esports & Gaming Event in Sabah!

Sabah Net Sdn. Bhd., in collaboration with Persatuan Sukan Elektronik Sabah (PERSUES) and House of Otaku (HOO), proudly hosted the Sabah Net Youth Esports Championship 2025 — a vibrant two-day celebration of esports, youth innovation, digital culture, and community spirit.

From intense Mobile Legends: Bang Bang matches to stunning cosplay showcases, from tech industry talks to dynamic social entrepreneur and exhibition booths - Keningau came alive with the sound of clicks, cheers, and celebration.

Esports Tournament – RM16,000 Prize Pool!

A total of 64 teams clashed in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament under two categories:

• Secondary School Category (26 April 2025)
• Open/Public Category (27 April 2025)

Cosplay Contest – RM1,800 Prize Pool!

Our cosplay competition lit up the stage with stunning performances and creative costumes.

Gaming Stations & Mini Contests – RM3,250 in Prizes!

Attendees of all ages tried their hand at casual and competitive games, powered by AKG Racing, Mr. Puppet, and North Borneo Esports — creating excitement beyond the main tournament.
 

Tech Talks, Exhibitions & Entrepreneurship

Attendees explored over 15 exhibitor booths and 8 social entrepreneurs, representing innovation in education, technology, community farming, composting, drone, digital transformation, and creative industry.
